In a world where our days often feel like a blur of deadlines, responsibilities, and distractions, the connection between our physical and spiritual health can easily get lost. Yet, this very connection is what often determines our sense of peace, clarity, and purpose.
For Taskeen Jamal—a certified BodyTalk practitioner and productivity content creator—bridging the gap between body, mind, and soul isn’t just a career; it’s her calling. Moving from the corporate boardroom to the therapy room, she’s made it her mission to help women across the globe restore balance, align with their goals, and nurture both their deen and dunya.
“I switched from the boardroom to the therapy room to fulfill my dream of supporting women and their families to improve their health, to connect better with themselves so that they can be and achieve the goals that they want… both for their deen and their dunya goals.”
Her journey began unexpectedly during a BodyTalk Access class. That day, Taskeen discovered a world where physical health could not be separated from emotional well-being. The realization was instant: This was the work she was meant to do.
Taskeen recalls two stories that continue to inspire her.
“One stays with me because it was such an instant transformation… my friend was pregnant and set for an emergency C-section… I did one of the BodyTalk techniques for calming called the cortices technique… later she said she was so relaxed, the doctor thought she was falling asleep. Alhamdulillah, the birth went well.”
Another client, who suffered from persistent back pain, woke up one morning pain-free after a series of sessions.
“She was so excited… she said, ‘I woke up expecting that pain and it was gone.’ And it reminded me—we don’t have to settle for pain or stress. There’s always hope for change.”
Many clients struggle with overthinking, and Taskeen offers a simple yet powerful self-help tool: the cortices technique.
“It’s a brain balance technique… one hand at the back of your head, one hand tapping on your head, heart center, and belly button. This aligns your head, heart, and gut brains… calming you down and activating your healing.”
She also shares a “self check-in worksheet” for busy people to quickly capture feelings and gain clarity on the next best step.
“BodyTalk is a science-based healing therapy… our bodies can heal themselves, but prolonged stress or unprocessed emotions slow that ability. BodyTalk clears what’s slowing your healing so you function at your best… it’s truly holistic—mental, emotional, spiritual, and environmental.”

For Taskeen, healing isn’t just the absence of pain—it’s about unlocking your potential for greater energy, clarity, creativity, and presence.
Taskeen sees healing for Muslim women as a deeply spiritual pursuit.
“We’re not doing it just for the sake of feeling good… it’s to serve others, be good ambassadors as Muslims, and ultimately please our Creator.”
She shares a story of a client—a new mother worried about Laylat al-Qadr during Ramadan—who, after a session, felt content with what she was able to do, even teaching her daughter a few ayahs from Surah Al-Qadr.
“This is the potential it holds for us… when we feel inner balance, it allows us to be better in our deen and spirituality.”
“Pay attention. Just start noticing the signals and feelings in your body—what feels good, what doesn’t. That pause opens the door to greater awareness and the first step in healing.”
Taskeen’s approach is a reminder that healing is not about quick fixes, but about understanding how our physical symptoms, emotional state, and spiritual presence are interconnected. Through intentional awareness and holistic support, we can step into a state where serving our Creator and living our purpose becomes easier, lighter, and more joyful.
